Students with a "hold" on their account should first check the status of the account on LESESNE GATEWAY. If the student owes for a prior term or the current term and it is after the payment due date for the term, chances are the hold has been placed for financial reasons.
While it is possible for holds to be on an account for various reasons, the Financial "holds" placed by the Treasurer's office will prevent a student from receiving a transcript and will also prevent registration for additianal course work. Once holds are in place for financial reasons, they will be removed when the debt is satisfied.
Since the placing and removing of "holds" is a manual process, the payment of a past due billing through the payment gateway on LESESNE GATEWAY will not automatically remove the hold. If this is your situation, you will need to contact the Treasurer's office, to have the hold removed.
